Original Waite Smith Tarot Pam-A
About
The Original Waite Smith Tarot is a Divination Tarot deck created by Arthur Edward Waite and illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith in 1910. It was manufactured by Rider in the United Kingdom. This deck, also known as the Waite-Rider Tarot, the Waite-Smith-Rider Tarot or the ‘Pam-A’ deck, is based on the teachings of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. It has since become the most popular type of divination tarot and has inspired numerous variations.
The deck is in good condition and is complete with all 78 cards. The Pam-A version is characterized by an extra line near the top of the Sun arcana and a unique printing technique where colors are applied as lines instead of dots. There is a tear on the Magician card. The deck comes with its original manual, ‘The Pictorial Key to the Tarot’, written by A.E Waite.
